How Eagle Crest Stockyard Works

Eagle Crest Stockyard connects local livestock buyers with local ranchers and sellers. Buyers browse available livestock and let ranchers know what they are interested in. Ranchers then contact buyers directly to coordinate availability, pickup, and final arrangements.

For Buyers

1. Browse Available Livestock

Search available listings to find cattle, pigs, chickens, sheep, rabbits, goats, and other livestock available from local ranchers and sellers.

2. View Animal Information

Learn more about the livestock you are interested in, including available details, pictures, quantity, general area, and other helpful information provided by the rancher or seller.

3. Create an Account

To express interest in livestock, buyers create an ECS account. Accounts help reduce spam, improve communication, and allow ranchers to contact interested buyers directly.

4. Tell the Rancher You’re Interested

Found animals you may be interested in? Let the rancher know through ECS. This starts the process and lets the rancher know you would like to learn more.

5. Hear From the Rancher

The rancher contacts you directly to answer questions, discuss availability, and coordinate pickup or other arrangements.

6. Complete Arrangements Directly

Final arrangements, pickup, and payment happen directly between the buyer and rancher. Eagle Crest Stockyard does not process livestock payments.

For Ranchers

1. Get Your Livestock Listed

Eagle Crest Stockyard helps create listings using information, pictures, and details about your livestock so local buyers can learn more about what you have available.

2. Connect With Interested Buyers

When buyers express interest, ECS notifies you so you can follow up directly.

3. Contact Buyers Directly

You communicate directly with buyers to answer questions, discuss availability, and coordinate details.

4. Stay in Control

You remain in control of pricing, availability, communication, pickup, and final arrangements. ECS simply helps local buyers find the animals you already raise and sell.

Built Around Local Connections

Eagle Crest Stockyard was created to help livestock buyers and sellers connect more easily, beginning in Northern Idaho and built to support local livestock communities.

Whether you are raising livestock year-round or only occasionally, ECS is designed to keep the process simple, practical, and local.
